I have decided to also start sharing some of my favorite pictures! I have been inspired by the worldly animals blog on here, as I used to have the dream of traveling around the world to take pictures, mostly of animals, mainly horses....enjoy!
When I arrived on this earth, I came preprogrammed for the sight of a horse, any horse, to take my breath away. It still happens.Some people slow down to rubber-neck for accidents along the roadside- I cannot resist taking in any horse, standing in any field, doing any old thing. My vehicle decelerates- the movie screen of my world goes into slow motion. All for the sight of a beautiful horse!

The thing that bugs me the most when people say riding isn’t a sport is that, after an hour of practice of soccer what do you do? Or football? You shower and drink and rest. After an hour of riding, you’re still responsible for your partner. Before you can drink or rest or change, you have to care for the huge animal that is equally as hot and sweaty as you. In other sports, after practice is over you quit. In riding, when practice is over you’re only half done.
Totally true. And you use muscles you don’t use in other sports.
